Location: Falls of the Ohio (KY) Observation date: 9/12/10 (from 1330 to 1600) Notes: Heard about 4 buff-b. sandpipers being reported at the Falls by Eddie Huber. I couldn't find them from the observation deck yesterday. So today I hiked to the outer fossil beds to get closer views. I observed 6 buff-b sandpipers feeding together on the fossil beds. A few minutes later 6 pectoral sandpipers flew in with nice close scope views. Yesterday, shortly before sunset 4 caspian terns landed on the outer fossil beds.........did not see them today.
