I've been birding and pulling garlic mustard on my family farm in Jefferson
County for most of the day. Migrants were nearly non-existent just yesterday.
Today is a different story. New birds in all groups, and lots of firsts for the
farm this spring. I had a nice mix of early and peak warblers (16 spp)
including NINE Magnolia, 2 Bay-breasteds, a Chestnut-sided, a Canada, and a
singing Mourning; also observed were 2 Philadelphia Vireos and a singing Least
Flycatcher (another whitting).
