Clay, Jamie Baker, I, and several others kept up with the Red-necked Stint at
least into mid-afternoon. I believe it was seen after a line of showers with
some heavy rain went thru after we left about 100 pm CDT.
A couple of people unfamiliar with the area have asked about access. Just to
clarify ... in the past, at least a few of us have had interactions with the
farmers leasing this area and we have been granted permission to bird the area
as long as we do not damage the crops. The only problem is that I don't think
anyone has encountered any of the farmers during the past year or two, so we
are presuming that the situation continues to be the same. If anyone has an
interaction with a local farmer/owner of this land, just explain this situation
and hopefully all will continue as is.
Also ... I did not mean to totally lambast F***book today, but my *main* point
is ... if you take the time to post to other forums, PLEASE also post to BIRDKY
or ask someone subscribed to BIRDKY to post updates for you.
