Unexpectedly had a few hours free, so went up to the falls stopping along
the river down to the Jeffersonville overlook and then from Towhead Island
and Eva Bandman Park to Thurman Hutchins.  Highlights were as follows;
American Black Duck- single female following mallard drake
Northern Pintail-1drake
30 Canvasback, 50 Redhead, 12 greater scaup, 80 or more Goldeneye, 4 Hooded
Mergs, 4 Bufflehead, 1 coot, 4 Herring gulls( 2 1st cycle, 1 2nd cycle and
1 3rd or adult), 1 phoebe at beargrass creek mouth, 1 winter wren and 3
Yellow-rumped Warblers.  Pretty good for 2 and half hours of birding.
