Rand Falls, Pam Spaulding, and I were down at the riverfront again this
evening. Highlights included 3 Franklin's Gulls with at least 72 Ringers; 2
imm./female Black Scoters; 1 Common Loon, a small flock of divers that
contained several Lesser Scaup, 2 f. Bufflehead, and 4 f. Ring-necked Ducks; 3
Northern Shovelers with a small group of Mallards, and a very lonely looking
American Coot all by itself out in the middle of the river.
