Hi all, 4 ponds were drained this weekend, and a few shorebirds were present. 2 immature Little Blue Herons remain near the oxbow pond. I also had an immature little blue in the shallow flats area near twin knobs. I also noticed migrants in good numbers for the first time this fall at Minor Clark. Highlights included Chestnut-sided Warbers, Bay-breasted Warbler, Blackburnian Warbler, and Yellow-throated vireo. Common breeders such as Yellow Warbler, Red-eyed vireo, Scarlet tanager, and others were also very prevalent and appeared to be starting to move.
