An impressive wave of migrant Sandhills over eastern Jefferson County this
morning; presume these are some of the birds that have been amassing at and
near Muscatatuck NWR about 50 miles north of Louisville recently.
I did a circuit of the Louisville airport this morning; only saw 3 American
Kestrels, 1 Red-tailed Hawk, and a few flocks of starlings.
