26 November 2011: I scouted around in South Logan and southwest Todd County this AM and had the following observations of possible interest. In Logan County, I stopped at Lake Herndon (Boy Scout Lake) where I saw 4 Pied-billed Grebes. I also stopped by the Brown Family Farm ponds and observed 14 Canada Geese. I made a quick stop at Mosley's Pond and saw nothing that I was hoping to see. However, I did get a nice long and close look at an immature Cooper's Hawk. At Guthrie Swamp I observed 3 Double-crested Cormorants and 3 Great Blue Heron. At the northeast impoundment, I saw over 100 Killdeer, ~10 Least Sandpipers, 1 Dunlin, and 6 American Pipits. That concludes this report.
