12 July 2010:
This afternoon, I checked the KY 739 Transient Lake-Pond again for birds.
The species were basically the same as yesterday. Noted were
Mallard, 66 counted individuals, most of which were birds of the year
Wood Duck, 10
Great Blue Heron, 2
Greater Yellowlegs, 1
Solitary Sandpiper, 3
Least Sandpiper, ~20
Pectoral Sandpiper, 4
Stilt Sandpiper, 1
Spotted Sandpiper, 5
That concludes this report.
