Thursday, May 13Yesterday morning we had a Cape May warbler singing loudly in our pear tree as we rushed to get out the door to work. As I backed out of the garage I opened the sun roof hoping to spot warblers. When I looked up, there directly above me in full soar was a beautiful, dark morph broad-winged hawk. I watched it circle over the teetops as it headed north.
