Between the weather and birding elsewhere, I have not been around to see if the
Le Conte's Sparrow we saw on my farm last week was still around. Well, Ron
Hirsch refound it awhile ago in the unmowed portion of the field and we finally
got a brief look at it and he got some pics.
This bird is really hard to get a look at, but group effort might yield
satisfactory looks . . . not sure what to suggest, but maybe after work today
or tomorrow sometime could try for it again?
If you have an interest, let me know when would suit to try and I'll try to
organize something.
