When Steve & Teresa Graham and I were at LBL on Monday afternoon, Steve noticed
a female Northern Parula with nesting material; we watched her go to a nearly
completed nest. Steve put a couple of photos on the KOS Flickr site at this

As of the publication date of the Kentucky Breeding Bird Atlas (1996), there
was only *ONE* record of an actual Northern Parula nest in KY, that being in
Franklin County in 1968.
I am curious if anyone has ever seen a Northern Parula nest or if this might
be, indeed, only the second ever reported in the state. I can be emailed off
