On Sat. 12 May 7 birders celebrated the International Migratory Bird Day by doing our annual spring bird count, Granville and Thelma Cox, Roseanna Denton, Gay Hodges, Laura Kamperman, Laura Obiso and Arlene Morton. We tallied 120 species with 26 warbler species. Our most notable misses were Broad-winged Hawk and Louisiana Waterthrush.
