*FRANKFORT, Ky. (March 12, 2018) —*The fisheries division of the Kentucky
Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources will hold a public meeting to
discuss the various fisheries in Laurel River Lake March 20 in London.
“We periodically hold public meetings to engage the public,” said Fisheries
Director Ron Brooks. “There is an intense interest in Laurel River Lake and
over the past several years, there have been some changes in the fisheries
in the lake. We want to discuss those changes with the public.”
The meeting begins at 6 p.m. (EST) and concludes at 8 p.m. It is being held
at the Laurel County Cooperative Extension Office at 200 County Extension
Road, off U.S. 25 in London.
Interested members of the public are invited to attend.
