It is possible that area lakes could have a decent fallout of waterbirds today. 
The situation was not classic overnight, but northeast-bound precip has been 
working out of the deep south and we've had northeast surface winds turning to 
east. This could have had southbound migrant waterbirds running into the 
northbound rain/snow.
