I had to look this up. Turns out to be the common south Florida Glossy Ibis,
well out of normal range up here in west KY.
Good to hear from David, who until a few years ago made frequent contributions
to BirdKy and we wish he would again. He led a very good bird outing once to
Paradise Sinclair WMA, and also to the southwest Henderson "sloughs."
