This afternoon after bringing a wood carving to a stop point for glue drying, I
feeder watched a few minutes before Alison and I took our afternoon field walk.
Not an abundance of birds showing up here yet, but I haven’t been feeding long.
I photoed what I assumed at the time was a Yellow-rumped Warbler at the bird
bath. I so seldom review field marks that I‘m not quick to spot a difference in
a bird that looks about like another bird. On screen I noticed a white outer
tail feather and saw no sign of a yellow rump. That led me to consult Sibley.
Pretty sure I had a Pine Warbler. Hope somebody checks me to be sure.
