I saw this for years right outside my old office in Frankfort.  There were a 
LOT of turkey vultures and black vultures.  In a nearby tall building there is 
a peregrine nest.  They were wholly intolerant and would hit vultures 
hard...feather drop and wounds were not uncommon.

Very interesting.  I see turkey vultures, black vultures and peregrines at the 
same time quite often in the Louisville CBD, but I've never seen them interact.

I just watched a Peregrine Falcon dive-bombing a poor Turkey Vulture over the 
UofL med school.  It didn't look like any contact was made, but that falcon 
couldn't have picked a less maneuverable target!  The vulture did its best to 
get out of the way, though.
