Debby first got a glimpse of a fuzzy GHOW owlet’s head, in the nest cavity, on
Thursday and I got a photo of one that was visible for a while this evening -
link to eBird list with photos, below. We have no idea how many are in there,
but this one was really small and toddling. It appeared to fall asleep, several
times, drifting down and out of view each time.
We also counted seven Short-eared Owls, this evening, which is our best count
since mid-January.
