Top golf has been in Nashville for the better part of a year now, including
during migration. It would be good to know how many kills were racked up
here. Those nets are huge. IMO, it ruins the city skyline from the north.

Mr. Lane,
I am not sure who to contact at the Louisville Audubon Society but perhaps
you can help me. I am a concerned bird advocate. TopGolf at Oxmoor Center
is proposing to build 27 or 28 poles that are 170-feet tall (about the
height of Kaden Tower) with netting between the poles to catch golf balls.
I am concerned about birds flying into these nets and getting trapped,
injured, or killed.
Who locally would be helpful to assist in defining this problem? The next
Planning Commission meeting to change the zoning to allow TopGolf to build
is Oct. 1, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at UofL Shelby Campus so I would like to be
prepared before then.
