There have been three drake canvasbacks on the ponds in front of the
Sutherland neighborhood on US 42 near the Jefferson- Oldham county line for
at least the past week. Nice birds to see on the commute each day. Other
than Canadas, I've only ever seen a pied-billed grebe and redhead on those
ponds.
