I made two attempts today to get the Snowy Owl reported in Daviess County.
Without any luck.
I went this morning from 7:15AM to 7:45AM at McCarty Road and drove up and
down and looked and looked.
Then this afternoon I tried again from 3:15PM to 4:45PM.
Besides driving up and down McCarty Road I also drove Powers Lane,
Curdsville-Delaware Road, Pond River Road, and finally Smock Road.
Never saw the Snowy Owl.
It was reported yesterday morning and evening in that area.
I did see several Am. Kestrels and Red-tailed Hawks.
