This morning at Big 739 Pond I saw a single White-rumped Sandpiper in with a mixed flock of about 20 Least and Semi-palmated Sandpipers. On an island about a tenth mile from shore there was one Black-bellied Plover and a couple of Semi-palmated Plovers. There were also still many Coots, at least one Blue-winged Teal, a pair of Mallards and a pair of Scaup, undetermined which Scaup. I kept hearing, but never saw a Pied-billed Grebe. The shore line had finally receded a few feet, greatly increasing the mud.
