Had a pretty good farm circle this morning, with looks and a poor picture of a
Barred Owl before dawn, then looks only of a female Purple Finch at the woods
puddle.
We go to Madisonville on Thanksgiving for lunch with my sister, Ann Morgan.
Before going to her house, we made 2 stops at different spots on the edge of
Lake PeeWee, looking unsuccessfully for the Pacific Loon. We did manage to get
good close up looks at the 2 White Pelicans + pictures. They were in a cove
just down the street from my sister’s house on Shamrock Drive. White Pelican
was a life bird for me.
