Jeeves has so far refused to be coaxed in closer by continuous cover of uprooted Multiflora Roses filling the entire gap between Sunflower/Corn Rocks and Gourmet Rock. Today I added a cardboard flap at the top of the canopy to make my presence even less noticeable. It seemed to help in that lots more birds visited Gourmet Rock during my stakeout, but Jeeves wasn't among them, keeping to the same routine as always. 5 new pictures here showing Jeeves, the new set-up, a Downy Woodpecker and a Mourning Dove - https://www.flickr.com/photos/123438032@N04/ Frank Lyne frank@xxxxxxxxxxx - near Dot in Logan County, KY ================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBERS============= When posting on BIRDKY, please close posts with your first and last name and your address (city or county). * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * To post on BIRDKY, send e-mail to: birdky@xxxxxxxxxxxxx * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the KOS website at http://www.birdky.org * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the KOS Photo Page to view photos of birds recently sighted in Kentucky: http://www.flickr.com/groups/kentucky_ornithological_society/pool * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * To unsubscribe, send e-mail to: birdky-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject line. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * BIRDKY List Manager: Gary Ritchison.
