Subject: [birdky] Monday morning, various spots
This morning I walked over to a neighboring farm to look at a nest Red-tailed
Hawks built in 2012 and reused in 2013. I found a Horned Owl sitting on it.
Photographed a White-breasted Nuthatch in the yard. Later I visited 3 local wet
spots. Nothing much at Guthrie Swamp - a few Swamp Sparrows, Song Sparrows,
Savannah Sparrows, American Pipits, Canada Geese, Killdeer and one gull I
failed to identify. John. U. Young Road is nearly dry and had nothing. There
was 1 Greater Yellowlegs and a few Killdeer at C. Cauley Road Pond. Owl,
nuthatch and yellowlegs here -
