Frank, I think the woman probably saw you turn pale when she told you how much
40 pounds of black oil sunflower cost… And mistook it for a cardiac episode.
FYI, the northbound wind delivered our FOS eastern kingbird, and ruby-throated
hummingbird, today.

Maybe it’s just me, but I prefer not to report something that makes the rare
bird alert without a photo. If someone challenges me, I like having evidence
to back me up. This very morning, upon purchasing a 40 Lb. sack of black oil
sunflower seed at Tractor Supply, the clerk asked me if I needed help loading
it in our vehicle. I said “No". She then said, “Are you sure?” Probably
shouldn’t have done it, but I reached down and lifted the 40 lb. sack
straight out in front of me with my right arm only simply to demonstrate that
I didn’t need any help out.

I saw the rare bird alert on it yesterday. You do realize that reviewers (of
which I’m one) are volunteers and do the reviewing on their own time. Have a
little patience for those who review your area. The comments on the sighting
didn’t describe the bird to indicate what you had seen so adding in those
will help to move the process along.

I had a low-flying and circling Mississippi Kite over my property yesterday
afternoon in Oldham County. eBird hasn't seen fit to accept yet, so
probably isn't showing up online at the moment.
