In the last 40 minutes, I’ve counted 7 Harriers that have passed over, all on a
SSW heading and clearly in travel-mode. It has settled somewhat now but, the
first six we’re fighting a stiff in-the-face breeze when they went over. I
thought they seemed pretty determined.
I saw several of them behaving the same way, yesterday. They came high over
the woodlot from the north, and I just assumed that they gained that altitude
to clear the trees… But now I’m wondering if there’s something else going on.
Is it possible Harriers could still be migrating?
