While participating in the Louisville Christmas Bird Count Jim Arnett,
Major Waltman and I found a Merlin at Thurman Hutchins Park. For several
years now we've had a Merlin winter at the adjacent Carrie Gaulbert Cox
Park. For the last couple of months I've been checking for the Merlin at
Cox's Park almost weekly without any luck. So we were pretty surprised and
thrilled with our find today! Ebird list with not so great photo below..
