We had a fine spring day for our first park outing of the year. A hike
around the visitor center clearing and out to Sunset Point yielded 23
species. No returning spring migrants yet, but lots of song and activity.
HIghlights included good numbers of purple finches, along with very
cooperative bluebirds and waxwings.
