A Red-tailed Hawk at noon, completely in the open, flew to the ground, caught a
1 1/2 inch dia. x 2 ft long snake, defended it from a vulture, then the Redtail
flew off around a walnut, dropped the snake, then recaught the snake, while we
continued to a back field for some barnwork.
Hawking good entertainment.
