Received a message from fellow birder Casey Leek that he encountered an Avocet
while kayaking the Ohio.
He said the bird was foraging near a shoal almost directly across from Silver
Creek in New Albany, IN.
He said with a spotting scope it may be possible to find the bird again.
It was last seen by him around 2pm EST.
