New bird for our house list today! I walked the ridge top section of our
driveway and heard a sound that was new to me. Found a shrike singing in a
tree that borders our neighbor's open field. Got really great looks and
enjoyed the singing. Got my partner up from her sickbed to go see it. Have
seen it at Shakertown, but I have been waiting for this bird to be here; we
have good habitat for it.
