We don't get to report shorebirds in Lexington very often. On a whim I stopped at Jacobson Park on my way home from breakfast this morning. There's quite a large mudflat area at the upper end of Res.#4 there. There were a number of peeps (Least Sandpipers - from my "expert" observation). More than a few Killdeer A semi Plover or 2 a Lesser Yellowlegs Several Double crested Cormorants Half a dozen Common Terns The shorebirds are subject to verification by some one more familiar than I with them.
