It is nice to have such a lovely place to bird nestled in the urb , beautiful
trees, beautiful birds, beautiful birders.
Sunday's commotion was significant but limited in species. Bird of the day was
Bay-breasted, whose numbers rivaled robins (I may exaggerate). Other warblers
included Cape May, Blackpoll, Tennessee, Chestnut-sided, and a healthy number
of Magnolia. I was aided in my second sighting of Canada Warbler, seeing a
female and hearing a male. I have now 4 Canadas in about 4 seconds of viewing.
We also had a Yellow-bellied Flycatcher, while quite active, did give us some
good looks. It was good to be warm.
