A female ruby-throated hummingbird continues to visit our feeder. This morning she came in about 8:30, drank for a long time and flew away. We only see her once/twice a day, around this time in the morning.

We watched a large hawk, we think an immature red tail, pursue a squirrel around a tree near our house. The squirrel simply kept moving around the tree until the hawk gave up. As we continued to observe, we saw another very similar hawk nearby. The second hawk did not participate in the squirrel chase. Both soon left.
