Sorry that this message is so late, but we had to resubscribe to KOS Chat. We have seen late hummers in our back yard on October 22, 29 and 30. The humnmer on October 22 and 29 appeared to be a rufous, or at least it had very rufous sides. It was more skittish than our summer hummers and would not let us get a good look before it flew. The hummer on October 30 did not seem to have the rufous sides and was probably a late migrant ruby throat.
