Hap and I kayaked out to the islands north of Barkley Bridge and estimated
about 500 American white pelicans along with three lesser yellowlegs, Tenn.
warbler, yellow rumps (3), black throated green, and northern parula.
We flushed a lone meadowlark in the middle of the island.
From the kayaks at Jonathan Creek:
Least sandpipers 80
Western sandpiper 1
Semi-palmated sandpiper 1
F. terns 50+
Grey cheeked thrush 1
