To all Kentucky birders
I'm writing this quick note to share info about the work of the Kentucky
Ornithological Society. Through grants and awards, KOS sponsors
numerous environmental ed. activities (Anne L. Stamm Fund); scientific
research at state universities (Burt Monroe, Jr. Fund); publication of
research results as well as the KOS periodical, *The Kentucky Warbler*,
(Gordon Wilson Fund); and trips for teenage birders to American Birding
Association summer birding camps (Virginia and Wendell KIngsolver Fund.)
These four funds have a profound effect in promoting Kentucky birding. To
