Steve and others,

Yes, on the nightjars.  Our "faithful" Whip-Poor-Will has joined us again
this year.  I heard him around 10 last evening.  Having installed a window
A/C in my bedroom helps hear him.

As part of our weekend meeting, we're keeping a statewide bird list.
Here's what I've gleaned from eBird so far. 111 species today is a decent
start...please let me know what you've seen that isn't on the list. Any
nightjars? Screech-owls? Barn owls? Bank swallows? Horned larks?
Keep em coming.

Good birding,
Steve Kistler
