All but about 50 of the blackbird flock had moved on by Tuesday and the 50 didn't show up until some time after the first feeding. Only 3 trips were needed to keep food before the regulars, but the trips were measured in coffee cans instead of band-aid boxes. Jeeves went back to the old routine, coming out and feeding at Corn Rock before I could even walk back and sit down in the canopy, then running back into the briars. With all local grain fields totally buried, my hayfield had plenty of Horned larks and Lapland Longspurs but I couldn't get any decent pictures. I added a picture of a Killdeer looking out of place at snow hidden Sunflower Rock and a wide shot showing what a mass were feeding yesterday. https://www.flickr.com/photos/123438032@N04/ Frank Lyne frank@xxxxxxxxxxx - near Dot in Logan County, KY ================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBERS============= When posting on BIRDKY, please close posts with your first and last name and your address (city or county). * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * To post on BIRDKY, send e-mail to: birdky@xxxxxxxxxxxxx * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the KOS website at http://www.birdky.org * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the KOS Photo Page to view photos of birds recently sighted in Kentucky: http://www.flickr.com/groups/kentucky_ornithological_society/pool * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * To unsubscribe, send e-mail to: birdky-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject line. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * BIRDKY List Manager: Gary Ritchison.
