When the MACA Green River Ferry is down it takes approximately 55 minutes to
drive around going thru Brownville.

This doesn't affect much birding activity, but . . .
I think it was Steve Kistler who mentioned some time ago that the Green River
Ferry at Mammoth Cave NP would close sometime this summer for ramp
reconstruction project. I received word today that it *is* now finally closed
into or thru November.
