Guess it is time to check Sinclair WMA at Paradise S-2 for Harriers. We were
out there last week, but at 4 am to check for Perseid meteors.
Report from friend who birds near the west central Florida melon fields not far
from Wildwood said the Swallow Tail Kites are still there in large numbers but
not for long. The incredible large summer numbers of Swallow Tail Kites at Lake
Woodruff have already headed south.and the Mississippi Kites near the Villages
are still raising young.
