Hoping for some Short-eared Owls. But none seen. Weather was clear and sundown
at 4:34PM.
I have usually seen some out there by this date.
Conditions at SLWP have changed this year. A lot of the land has been tilled.
Other parts have been mowed and baled.
So there are no longer any tall grassy/weedy areas. Perhaps the result is no
longer any Short-owled Owls.
