First Roseate Spoonbill in KY for Charley !!!! Hats off for Charley, as he is
one of the most dedicated daily driving and walking birders who post reports on
birdky, especially west, sw of Henderson and south of the Ohio River.
Is this bird a first for KY ?
There could not be many Roseate Spoonbills ever reported in KY.
On Blackpoint Drive at Merritt Island NWR,FL, Spoonbills are fairly common in
Jan. Sometimes only one or two, other times 25 to 50. Once observed a feeding
frenzy of Spoonbills close to the drive
