I received this email (copied below) from a resident in the area of the
proposed solar farms (which is much larger than I originally was tracking),
and they are looking for help from bird groups.
If you are interested or need more information please contact me and I will
pass on Sandra’s contact info.
I am unable to do much speaking currently due to long-haul covid and lung
issues. Just get too winded. I can attend and assist in other ways.

Hello Jennifer,
It was so nice meeting you at the Bazaar. Hardin County Citizens for
Responsible Solar, are having a meeting Tuesday at the Ruritan Building,
behind the Cecilia post office. From 7-9, if you would like to attend,or
anyone else you know that would be interested.
One thing our group is looking for is someone who might like to do a
presentation on the Sandhill Cranes and Whooping Cranes in the Cecilia and
Glendale area. We have the Extension Office rented on December 2, from
7-9. I believe that is the right time. It will be an informal,
informative event. We will have several tables set up covering different
areas of the impact these panels will have. The Sandhill Cranes is one we
would like to have. We have gathered some information. If this is
something someone would like to do let me know. Also, I am looking for a
map of their migration through our area. What ever you think might help
our cause.
