Met Brainard & Sharon Arnold at Guthrie Swamp (Alison Road Junction on 848.)
Birded a few minutes from the right of way. Swamp is private property and I
have been banned from walking down to the shoreline. Would not have gone there
today except that Brainard stopped by my house earlier while I was gone to the
cattle sale to pick up books donated to KOS by Mark Bennett. Alison mistakenly
let him also take some of my own books that were boxed up because I am
renovating the living room. Sharon and Brainard had already stopped at this
spot earlier and saw a number of birds there that I did not see, but I did see
an immature Bald Eagle, 4 Ring-billed Gulls and 6 Least Sandpipers. Small
