Two great egrets were seen flying towards Hemtite Lake over Woodlands Nature
Station. They are the first we have seen this year.
Also heard field sparrows calling in our prairie and the American toads have
started calling earlier this week. Still hearing upland chorus frogs, spring
peepers, and so. leopard frogs. Lots of pine warblers
