A Preserve, great to hear !!
We drove slowly by again this morning on State Hwy 81. Rough count 30 GBH Nests
in the tops of Cypress Trees, with perhaps 15 GBH. This is on Cypress Creek,
the largest Creek in northeast Muhlenberg Co.
There is no immediate place to park and with light traffic, we could not linger
long. However, a church with a large parking lot is within reasonable walking
distance and hopefully permission to park could be granted. This could be a
great canoeing area, too. Very limited parking on the closer South Carrollton
side of the swamp, although there is a no trespassing sign, and a trailer with
dogs up the hill in the woods?
I must research this preserve.
