Thanks for the information about Magee Marsh and surrounding areas. The video
sounds like they’re working hard to both rebuild and make improvements.
I’m heading to Maumee Bay state park during the big week and will contribute to
the Magee Marsh rebuilding fund.

Sounds like the walk around the boardwalk might not be that great. Wonder if
the parking lot was affected, reducing the amount of people that can get in.
Glad there are other areas we can go. Bet the boardwalk by the hotel might
have issues also.

I wasn't aware they had such extensive storm damage in 2021.
Someone on my bird program (Zoom) tonight said that the Magee Marsh area is
almost unrecognizable. Supposedly the eagles rebuilt their nest in the
middle of boardwalk, where all the paths converge. You can't do the full
boardwalk loop, you have to do a west and east path. Their old nest tree
blew down in a big storm last year. Most of the big trees in the area blew
down. Many of the trees were left on the ground, so it's hard to see the
ground in some places.
